Our friend Amy!

Sam and I were quite overjoyed when Miss Amy decided to call upon us as part of her holiday. Having been remiss from our lives for several years (well at least mine!), it was a fantastic treat to have her visit!

We were quick to show her some of the more "IMPRESSIVE" vistas of Brisbane

including the obligatory Mt Coot-tha summit

This was followed with a quick trip out to Bribie Island where she collected the ugliest shell for Claire and patiently waited for us to get on with our creative shit (as in arts and crafts and not as in Picasso-esq Mr Whippies)

Despite being repeatedly slighted by Claire (who insults people as a sign of affection... or is that just an affliction... Maybe it's coz she was affronted by the ugliest shell on the beach), she was still able to show us her WIcked breakdancing moves despite a bung knee. And the girls wanted to show that from Eeeeasssiiide to Wwwessssiiiiide, Australia was just one big Massifff! (Although gumby-fingers Amy can't quite make a W without breaking a finger or two)

Best of luck in the new job and in Perth! Hope to see you and Geordie sometime soon!

Sam and Hash

As I keep reminding many people, I ain't no plllaaaayah! I'm just one of the girls (sob)

All photos done with Claire 18-70mm with no polariser. The only one I've got is a Hoya HMC 72mm which is slated for the 18-200mm when it comes.

Where you posting your photos frinky?

hmmmm ok, first couple look pretty polarised.
Just posting a bit on deviantart and www.pbase.com/frink not real active at the moment tho :P
http://www.pbase.com/frink/botty I don't think that one's public so theres the link.. some fisheye stuff again. I'd kill for some more dynamic range with the fisheye mounted.. which is why I may trade my D70 for a D50...
