To crop or not to crop?

A pose and grab shot with only one frame exposed as we were on our way to greet guests

I'm of two minds about the head and shoulders crop, Therese suggested it and whilst it does lose the dangely hands... it also loses that 3rd layer of depth with the cottage in the background. I liked it with a more body and background, though I should have got the groom to fold his arms or put them in his pockets.

Hey Hash, one of the options on your poll should be:

- Looks at blogs at work by making the browswer really small and placing in the bottom corner to avoid detection from bosses.

That would get my vote.

Selina: Thanks, agreed about crop for hands, will make future grooms adopt a macho pose. I am well and yourself?

Billo: Understoond ;-) will have to think about best compromise for photo size. Whaddya think about bring a reflector to a late arvo wedding shoot? Too fiddly particularly without an assistant (save for bridal party)?

I was thinking of bouncing flash into reflector for even more diffuse light than with on-flash tupperware.
